Does It Really Matter?
We've given this quite a lot of thought over the past few days and there are a lot of arguments for and against. We must admit that we are a bit divided on the subject and although we agree on most things there are some things we just won't be able to talk to other people about because it would give a distorted view of what kind of person we really are.
To Estupido everything matters but it's not usually something she will take too seriously, whereas Discreto does not always think it matters but is sure to get very emotional about it. We can't quite figure out which is the best way to deal with it so the conclusion consequently becomes that it shouldn't really matter. The fact that we give it some thought is enough, even if the outcome of these thought-processes inevitably result in the view that it doesn't matter.
However, is it really possible to learn from something that doesn't matter. We think it is... well, one of us thinks it is and the other think it isn't although she can't quite explain why. In this particular situation we both think there might be something to learn, but agree that if there isn't, then it doesn't really matter anyway.
We will probably keep thinking about this for the rest of the evening, just to see if we can agree on the relevance, and if the outcome is positive we might be able to bring it up with somebody else tomorrow and have a proper discussion.
It doesn't really matter either way.

It must be great to never get lonely. It's good to talk (even if you're the only one listening) Or miss the point. points hurt.
The phenomena is twin-souls. We're a work of fiction but we don't hold that against our creator.
you're clearly terribly enlightened.
I'm not enlightened.
I have precisely no clue about anything at all metaphysical. The more I learn, the more I realise how little I know.
Gestalt entities often unnerve me, I come over all moth-like and fly too close to the flame of their weirdness. And then my wings catch fire and I scream in a little mothy voice "Oh fuck, that really hurts!"
With that in mind I'm now quite scared that I followed the link to your blog from Mr Frictionless' page.
(Cue giant candle-flame... you're on in five!)
I periodically check this blog, in the forlorn hope that it will have been updated, alas my hopes are always dashed.
and it started out so well
yours sincerely -concerned reader
I second the Moose. More now please.
Me too. I also want more. More I tell you! More!!!!
Please accept our apologies. We've been having a two week long argument over whose fault the nightmares are. Update coming up soon.
If I was an abstract representation of my artistic temperment and having an argument with myself i'd have posted it on the blog for the amusement of others. But then I have a massive inferiority complex and crave acknowledgement.
My cat's breath smells of cat food.
Nothing ever happens on this Blog... (cries of "Shame! Shame!" from the gallery.*)
*Tony Hart reference for those who remember him.
Ahhh the grey haired chap who taught a nnatoin of neglected TV oggling children how to draw motion lines and ducks. I remember him well.
But do you remember the late night S&M show he did on channel 4 (allegedly)?
No?
Me neither.
